Tippecanoe woman killed in crash near Burket

A Tippecanoe woman was killed after her car hit a utility pole late Tuesday night.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s office responded to the crash just before 11:00 PM along County Road 700 South, near County Road 600 West, just south of Burket. Authorities say 30-year old Amber Meyer was travelling eastbound along 700 South, when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Meyer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released any details into why Meyer’s vehicle left the road.
