A survey in Michigan shows that 43% of the population hasn’t eaten in a restaurant since the state’s ban on in-person dining ended.
M-Live reports the survey of 600 Michiganders was conducted over five days last month by the state’s Restaurant and Lodging Association. Most respondents said that they’re either ready to go back soon, or will do so once they’re vaccinated.
It’s anticipated that the summer season will see a large demand for restaurants, as people deal with a built-up urge to eat at their favorite places again.
