Police: Plymouth man arrested, clocked going 125 mph in LaPorte County

A Plymouth man who police say they clocked at driving at more than 100 miles per hour was arrested on suspicion of OWI.

It happened around 4 a.m. on Sunday, April 25, when investigators say Denver Schweizer, 25, was caught on radar at U.S. 20 near County Road 250 East in LaPorte County.

Officers say Schweizer’s vehicle’s speed increased to more than 125 miler per hour while continuing past the “Dogbone” Interchange and onto State Road 2.

Schweizer posted bond and was released from custody.
