North Dakota man injured in crash in Cass County

A 28-year-old man was injured after he crashed into a tree in Cass County.

The collision happened around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 1.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to investigate a crash involving a single vehicle that had went into a tree on Huntly Road near the intersection of Greenfield Ave in Howard Township.

On arrival, they found the driver, suffering from injuries. The man was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment.

Investigators say the man was headed eastbound on Huntly Road when he went off the road hitting a sign then smashed into a tree.
