Crossroads United Way and the Community Foundation of Elkhart County are awarding grants to BOOST summer learning for students.
Since the pandemic resulted inconsistent schedules, children not being able to regularly attend school and the loss of in-person contact with peers and teachers, the money should help Elkhart County organizations offer students the summer recover from some of those losses.
More than $230,000 are being shared by the Boys and Girls Club, E3 Robotics Center, the Elkhart Education Foundation, The Elkhart and Goshen Public Libraries, Five Star Life, Goshen College and several other groups.
