The State of Illinois could reopen fully next month, according to Governor Pritzer.
Pritzer says the state is entering “the bridge phase to normal” on May 14, and Illinois could fully reopen as early as June 11.
This is of course dependent on any significant reversals in the state’s COVID-19 metrics.
Illinois is currently in Phase 4 of their reopening plan. Phase 5 would be a full reopening.
The Bridge Phase will allow expanded capacity limits for businesses and gatherings leading up to Phase 5, and the governor says face coverings will continue to be recommended in some situations until the CDC says they are no longer necessary.

Go ahead and open, Prickzter. Anyone that can flee your deep blue craphole state has already done so.
