Four people were injured in a crash caused by a driver who police believe was intoxicated.

The collision happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, at State Road 15 and U.S. 20 in Elkhart County.

Sheriff’s Deputies say a 29-year-old LaGrange man was traveling northbound and failed to yield the right of way, causing the other vehicle to crash into the man’s car.

One of those hurt was a four-year-old girl who suffered a head injury.

She and the others were taken to the hospital for treatment, but will be okay.

The driver who police say caused the crash was issued a citation for OWI.
