Danica Patrick will drive the Indy Pace Car this year

Race Car Driver Danica Patrick will lead the field of cars up to the green flag at the 105th Indianapolis 500 on May 30.

Patrick will be driving a Chevy Corvette Stingray as the pace car driver for the race. She will also appear as a studio analyst for the race broadcast on NBC.

Patrick ran in eight Indy 500s over the years, achieving the best starting spot for a female driver as a rookie in 2005. She was also the first female driver ever to lead laps in the race.
