One person is dead and another injured following a stabbing in a Dunlap home Thursday morning.

Police responded to a call for assistance at a residence in the 23000 block of Florence Avenue after 8 a.m.

When deputies arrived, they found a 35-year-old man who was unconscious and a woman with cuts, according to police.

The Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office told The Elkhart Truth that there was no indication of any threat to the public. Elkhart County Homicide is investigating and there’s been no word of any arrests, as well as no identification of the people involved.
