A man was hospitalized after a train collided with a car in Mishawaka.

It happened around 10:40, Thursday night at the tracks near Smith Street and Fifth Street in Mishawaka.

It’s believed the man disregarded the gate at the crossing. There was no immediate word about the extent of his injuries.
