The Kosciusko County Commissioners unanimously passed an resolution presented at Tuesday’s commissioners meeting that is against mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations and for healthcare freedom and privacy.

County attorney Ed Ormsby presented the five page resolution and read it off point by point to the commission and those in attendance. In layman’s terms, the resolution says that the county is not against the COVID vaccine or getting a vaccine, but that people should be left up to make their own personal decisions on whether or not they should get the vaccine.

The resolution also talks about the state’s decision to add Chapter 11 to the Indiana Code (16-39) in regards to COVID immunization passports, which are prohibited from being issued or required in the state by any form of government, something that Kosciusko County supports.

In the resolution, it states that the commissioners “encourage businesses
and schools in the County to avoid any measures or mandates that require employees,
customers, patrons, students, or other persons, except in certain healthcare related
facilities and other exceptional circumstances, to get a COVID-19 vaccine or to
produce health information on COVID-19 immunization status, otherwise known as
COVID-19 immunization passports.”

The passing of this resolution comes after an ordinance was passed making Kosciusko County a Constitutional Rights Sanctuary County in December and a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County in April.

  1. Passports sound like a Hitler Idea. SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS!
This must never happen in the USA.
Thanks for standing for America! I hope more places do the same

    • Yeah, American’s will NEVER settle for having to have documentation for anything!

      Like driving!
      Or meeting education requirements!
      Or getting social security!
      Or getting a job!

Seriously, this is the dumbest comment I’ve seen on the internet today. But it’s still early.

  2. I work for DePuy Synthes a Johnson & Johnson Company and on Monday they sent out a letter to all employees that having the vaccine is a condition for employment on Oct. 4th and anyone who does not comply will be separated from the company. I’m a 25 year employee who will be terminated. So yes, there are companies issuing mandates.

  3. IT’S EACH INDIVIDUALS CHOICE. ANYONE GETTING FIRED, OR LOSING THEIR JOBS OR POSITIONS SHOULD BE ABLE TO SUE THE PROVOCATEER OF AFORE SAID STATEMENT. WHERE ARE OUR RIGHTS THAT THESE FORFLUSHING POLITICIANS SAY WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DO. BUT WHEN IT COMES DOEN TO THE NITTY GRITTY, THEY DECODE WITH THE BUSINESS OWNERS AND INVENT DIFFERENT RULES, TO FIT THEIR AGENDA, NOT OURS. THANK GOD I RETIRED ALMOST 30 YEARS AGO. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE WAY WORKES WHO ARE PAYING THE WAY FOR ALL INCLUDIONG THE ILLEGALS WHO ARE HERE UNDERSERVING OF ANYTHING AND GETTING EVERYTHING THAT SO MANY WORKED SO HARD FOR SO MANY YEARS. IT’S A SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS TO SAY THE LEAST. NEXT THEY WILL BE TELLING US TO MOVE OUT OF OUR HOMES. DON’T BET AGAINST THIS. THE CONSTITUTION IS MEANT TO KEEP AMERICAN ELECTED OFFICIALS HONEST, NOT TO MAKE THEM BIGGER THEIVES. IT SEEMS EVERYTHING WORKS AGAINST THE POOR PEOPLE, WHO HAVE TO WORK TO SURVIVE. WHAT A SCREWED UP NATION WE HAVE LET THE POLITICAL RULERS OF OUR COUNTRY BRING DOOWN UPON ALL CITIZENS.IT’S ALL WRONG, TIME TO FIGHT BACK IS MY CONSIDERATION. IF WE DON’T TAKE SOME KIND OF ACTION, WE WILL LOSE IT ALL.
