After two years, Trine University is more than ready to welcome Gordon Lightfoot to the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.

Tickets are now on sale for Lightfoot’s Sunday, Aug. 15, concert at Trine.

“We know the past postponements were disappointing to many fans, and are excited to present this event for those who held on to their tickets and waited patiently, as well as for others who may not have been able to make the previous dates,” said Jennifer LaRose, director of event services at Trine.

The legendary folk singer was originally supposed to appear at the Furth Center in 2019, but was forced to postpone the appearance until 2020 due to injury. The 2020 concert, like many events, fell victim to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Aug. 15 concert will begin at 8 p.m. on the Ryan Concert Hall stage, with doors to the Furth Center opening one hour prior.

Those holding tickets for the previous concerts will be issued new tickets via email or, if an email is not on file, can pick them up at the ticket office prior to the event or Will Call the day of the event.

Tickets are still available, with prices ranging from $45 to $70. To order or to find out more information, visit trine.edu/furth.
