An unresponsive 14-year-old girl from Ohio was pulled from Lake Michigan over the weekend.

Indiana DNR personnel were sent to the Washington Park Beach shoreline around 1:00 pm on Sunday to rescue a teen and several others who were struggling in the water.

The agency says the teenager was located under the surface of the lake by a jet ski operator.

After being transported to Franciscan Hospital by ambulance, the teen was flown by helicopter to South Bend Memorial Hospital.

The teen remains in critical condition.
