Walorski, Holcomb met with leaders at Grissom Air Reserve Base

Congresswoman Jackie Walorski and Governor Eric Holcomb have met with military leaders at Grissom Air Reserve Base to urge consideration to host a fleet of new KC-46A Pegasus aircraft.

They met this week with U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General, Richard Scobee, Chief of Air Force Reserve.

Scobee advise the Secretary of the Air Force and the Air Force Chief of Staff on reserve matters and oversees all Air Force reserve units.

Grissom is among six candidate bases for future Reserve-led operations of the new aerial refueling and transport aircraft.

A total of 12 KC-46A’s will replace the Stratotankers. The designation would add nearly 200 new jobs to Grissom.
