Second cannabis festival set for Niles

A second, larger Nile Cannabis Festival has been approved by the Niles City Council.

The first festival is set for July 31.

The second fest was approved on the condition that all conditions and all rules are followed during the first event.

The Niles Daily Star reports the event will be hosted by the same organizer as the July 31 event.

The second event would take place at the Riverfront Park south with an attendance cap of 2,000, compared to the 500 attendance limit for the first event.

The event will see the full closure of Bond Street, the sole use of the park space, and around 100 workers and vendors.
