Bristol man pleads guilty to attempted murder after seriously injuring victim

A Bristol man is facing 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted murder after shooting a Goshen man at a gas station at U.S. 20 and State Road 15. T

The shooting happened in April of 2020.

Prosecutors say Rex Horton, 35, told the judge he suffered from he suffered from depression.

The plea gives the judge discretion to order that Horton be placed in a therapeutic community drug rehab program in prison, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Horton will be sentenced in August.
