Saint Joseph woman killed after being struck by vehicle

A woman from Saint Joseph was killed after she was struck by a vehicle.

The collision happened just before 12:30 a.m. on Monday, July 5, on Marquette Woods near Scottdale Road in Berrien County.

Sheriff’s deputies say the stretch of road where 73-year-old Linda Martinez was hit is dark and has no street lights.

The man driving the vehicle is 46-year-old and also from Saint Joseph.

The Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing the case.
