A man accused of shaking a pair of one-month-olds has pleaded guilty

A 23-year-old man from Evansville on Thursday admitted to two counts of neglect of a dependent resulting in serious injury.

Christopher Voegel was charged with the two crimes after an investigation in the injuries the two infants sustained in 2018.

The Elkhart Truth reports that the infant boy showed bruising near his temple and had blood on his nose.

The infants sister also had injuries including fractures to her right ankle and shine bone.

According to court documents Voegel admitted he placed both children in circumstance that endangered their health, ending in injuries.

He has a sentencing date set for September.
