Reports of stolen bicycles don’t often make the news, but in this case, it does.
That’s because Elkhart Police caught some fairly decent images of the suspect on camera. The theft happened around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, in the 700 block of West Franklin Street.
Investigators say the suspect got on to the property and removed the bike, which is described as a blue, BMX style, Krome 2.0, with blue pegs and an aftermarket seat
post.
Corporal Uhles with Elkhart Police is asking for assistance with the identification of the suspect seen in the accompanying photos.
