Lemonade Day efforts continue throughout Elkhart County

The spirit behind Lemonade Day and the efforts of local students learning about how to run a business continues in Elkhart County.

This past Saturday, July 17, members of the Boys & Girls Club of Nappanee rolled up their sleeves to serve their Lemon Pie ice cream creation and learn more about what it means to be an entrepreneur at Rocket Science Ice Cream in Nappanee.

The Nappanee Club members are just one of four Boys & Girls Clubs that participated in the Lemonade Day programming through Junior Achievement serving Elkhart County.

Goshen club members sold products at Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn in Goshen. They are also working with The Chief to sell their creation at the upcoming Elkhart County Fair.

Elkhart’s Boys & Girls Club members will sell their product on  July 22 at Vanilla Bean Creamery in Elkhart and Granger.

Middlebury Club members will sell their products at The Legendary Grind from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.on July 28.
