A Kosciusko County inmate who provided drugs to a fellow inmate has been sentenced to 40 years in prison in connection with the man’s death.

The inmate, Dennis McCrory, died in March 2019. According to court records, Susaraba had meth and heroin in his body cavity before he was taken to the jail.

Prosecutors say Christopher Susaraba provided drugs to McCrory, who became lethargic soon after ingesting the drugs, and died at the jail.

ABC 57 News reports Susaraba was found guilty of dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death, trafficking with an inmate and for being a habitual offender.
