The community has a chance to present questions to and hear from the Director of South Bend’s Community Police Review Board.

The online forum with Joshua Reynolds will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4.

Organizers say the goal is to offer community members interaction with Reynolds.

His appointment has been the subject of scrutiny during the past few weeks when it was revealed that he served several suspensions while working with Indianapolis Police. The organizers want the topics to focus on his vision for the office, the current status of his office, and community questions and concerns.

The open event is being hosted by Black Lives Matter South Bend and the Michiana Alliance Against Racism and Political Repression.

In order to join the online event, RSVP here. The event is free and open to all interested parties.
