A man was shot and killed in Michigan City.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 9, in the 1500 block of East Michigan Boulevard.

When the arrvived, police found Leland Collins, 34, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He died at the hospital.

So far there is no word of any suspects or arrests.
