Governor Holcomb’s inaugural ball concert event with Big & Rich canceled

The concert that was supposed to be a part of Governor Eric Holcomb’s inaugural ball this week has been canceled.

“Imagine Indiana’s attempt to be a first-time concert promoter came up short,” said Imagine Indiana in a press release. “Two concerts in two days proved too much for us to handle in the time we had. Therefore, we’ve decided to cancel the Big & Rich concert on August 19. Live Nation has been an extremely helpful advisor and partner throughout the process. All tickets purchased will be refunded immediately.”

That concert was supposed to be in White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis.

Founded in 2017, Imagine Indiana is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire collaboration and conversation for those who want to help.

The Boots & Black Tie Gala on Saturday, August 21 is still proceeding as scheduled. Tickets are $150 each.

Can’t we just cancel RINO Holcomb instead?
