New Habitat homes, park to be built in Mishawaka

Six new Habitat for Humanity homes and a neighborhood park will be built in Mishawaka.

The week-long Habitat Work Project is a follow-up to the 2018 project headed up by former President Jimmy Carter and former First Lady Rosaylnn Carter.

The build will take place Sep. 21 – 24 at the same site – the Fields at Highland subdivision in Mishawaka.

In addition to the homes, volunteers will help construct a new A-D-A-compliant neighborhood park, which will be a first build-of-its-kind for the non-profit organization. If you’d like to volunteer, click HERE.
