Two middle school students at Pierre Moran were arrested Monday after an alleged attack on another student.

Elkhart Police officers were called to the middle school just before 10:30 a.m. on Monday on the report of a battery incident.

A 13 and 14 year-old girl were accused of attacking another student.

School staff were able to separate the students after the alleged attack. The victim suffered injuries including a fractured cheekbone.

Both girls were arrested for battery.
