Goshen man accidentally shoots himself

A man in Goshen was shot accidentally while trying to clean his gun, according to Goshen Police.

Police were called to the hospital, Sunday afternoon, for reports of a 55-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the hand.

Police learned the man had accidentally pressed the trigger while trying to clean his gun.

How do you clean a loaded gun? I’ve always make sure it’s unloaded so I can do it properly.
