Man, 37, badly hurt after crashing into minivan, mobile home in Mishawaka

The Mishawaka Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash with serious injuries involving a Chevy Silverado, Dodge Caravan and a mobile home.

The collision happened around 10 p.m. on Thursday, Sep. 9, on North 1st Street.

The Chevy, driven by a 37-year-old man, was seen backing up out of a driveway and quickly took off, hitting a parked Dodge Caravan and a mobile home.

The man was treated by Mishawaka Fire/EMS for head and neck injuries at the scene and taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
