South Bend Community School Corporation is celebrating College Go! Week with a tailgating event at Brown Community Learning Center.
The free tailgate is open to the public and will take place on Thursday evening, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The event will include a pop-up college fair with representatives from area colleges and universities. Families can also learn about and apply for Indiana’s 21st Century Scholars program at the event.
Also there will be free food, a live DJ, giveaways and more.
College Go! Week is an annual, statewide event that promotes enrollment in two and four year colleges across Indiana.

You betcha!
GO! get that 4 year degree in liberal arts, or anything ending in studies, or sociology, or anthropology, or anything except a STEM degree with all of that racist math.
GO! get those huge amounts of student loan debt to pay for that worthless degree.
GO! and do that math after the fact to figure out that you chose poorly, and now you need everyone else to bail your dumb self out.
SBCSC telling students to go to college is fine, but they also need to guide them into worthwhile pursuits. College in and of itself can be a huge waste of time and money if you go for the wrong degree.
