The Michigan Legislature has passed election bills that can limit who can access the state voter file. Additionally it limits voting equipment from being connected to the internet and require election challengers to receive training.
The legislation was supported by majority Republicans and opposed by many Democrats.
The measures were sent to Governor Gretchen Whitmer once the House approves changes.
Republicans said it is good to codify existing practices to ensure election integrity.
Democrats said the bills are unnecessary and expressed concerns that voting for the bill validates the 2020 election lies.

The only 2020 election lies are the ones being told by the Democrats.
Additionally, audit powers should not rest with the party who “won” the election. Giving the losing team full audit powers is the only way to keep the fraud in check.
Sounds like w winner to me. I have serious doubts weather whitmer will sign it into law.. It would do more harm to the democrats than good.
Machines don’t need to be connected to the internet while people are voting. In 2020 they were connected 24/7 an Whitmer admitted that our results could be seen and read by foreign countries, this is why our count was done so fast. So no it don’t need to be. We can do it without China.
I hate to read the news because it angers me to see them call the 2020 fraud a lie. All elections contain some measure of fraud so right off the bat the statement is TRUE. The difference with 2020 is that much of the fraud was discovered but buried so far it can’t be proved anymore. We need this legislation but it doesn’t go far enough. We have to do all we can to eliminate enough of the fraud that it doesn’t effect the outcome.
