Councilmen Henry Davis Jr. to hold town hall in mid-October

With the City of South Bend adopting one of its largest budgets in history at roughly $381 million dollars.

A South Bend Councilmen is asking question for his constituents to find out how much of the city’s $381 million dollar spending plan will benefit their area.

He says he hasn’t received any answers.

So, Henry Davis Jr. is hosting a town hall meeting about the matter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13th. It will be hosted at the Civil Rights Heritage Center to talk to residents about their concerns.

He hopes to be able to provide residents with information about the budget. Members of the Kennedy, LaSalle, Lincoln-Bendix and Monroe neighborhoods can attend.
