There are some big winners among us in Michiana.

Somebody hit a 1 point 2 million-dollar jackpot last Friday at the Four Winds South Bend Casino.

The Pokagon Band says the winning guest was from Edwardsburg, and won more than 1 point 2 million dollars on a Dancing Drums Explosion slot machine on Friday, Oct. 1.

That winner has decided to remain anonymous.

Their win is the seventh jackpot over $100,000 at Four Winds Casinos in 2021.

Also, some winning lottery tickets were recently purchased in Michiana.

A $50-thousand dollar winning ticket was sold at Al’s Supermarket in Michigan City for last Monday night’s Powerball drawing.

That ticket matched four-out-of-five numbers and the Powerball.

A winning ticket from last Tuesday night’s Cash 5 jackpot drawing was purchased at L.B. Food Mart on Lincolnway West in South Bend.

The entry matched all five numbers to win more than $190,000 dollars.
