Indiana Department of Health updates the color-coded COVID map

On Wednesday, October 6, the Indiana Department of Health reported 2,600 new cases of COVID-19 across the state.

The state’s 7-day positivity rate sits a 9.4%. The color-coded COVID map shows improvement with LaPorte, Porter and Lake counties back to yellow.

The rate of cases continues to drop in St. Joseph, Marshall and Kosciusko counties. They are all still in the orange zone.
