Mishawaka schools make change to indoor masking policy for some students

The Board of Trustees at the School City of Mishawaka have modified their universal indoor masking policy for certain students.

The new policy addition includes a mask exemption for students when they are performing or practicing in fine arts activities.

The change went into effect on Thursday.

Wow! That is great news. I’m glad COVID knows not to attack artists!

Or maybe the whole mask debacle is highly overrated (it is) and this is more about symbolism than safety…
