Police are providing more details about what led up to the shooting of a man in Mishawaka this past weekend.

Jarvis Redding was shot to death in his home early Sunday morning. A neighbor says he was putting his daughter to bed when she told him she heard knocks outside the window.

Those sounds were actually gunshots from the home next door.

Investigators say Redding was arguing with someone in the home before shots were fired.

Police arrived and found Redding’s body, but still have not announced any suspect information.
