The Salvation Army of Elkhart announces Red Ribbon Campaign

The Salvation Army of Elkhart is once again returning its annual holiday campaign, and they’re going to need the community’s help.

The organization in it’s Red Ribbon Basket Campaign hopes to fill 600 laundry baskets with personal care items.

Items needed include:

  • Toilet Paper
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • First aid products
  • Bathroom cleaner
  • Chlorine bleach
  • Dish soap
  • Paper towels
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Bath soap
  • Deodorant
  • Vinegar

The baskets will then be distributed to local families in need.

The bins will be provided to load and must be filled and returned by December 13.

To sign up to fill an individual basket, call 574-970-0088 or visit The Salvation Army’s office at 300 N. Main St. between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
