A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of another woman who was killed due to blunt force trauma.

It was back in August when emergency crews were called to a home on the report of an unresponsive female.

Cheyenne Ruttschaw, 21, died at the scene.

The autopsy ruled the manner of her death as a homicide.

Now, Christina Mendoza, 27, has been arrested for domestic battery resulting in death, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Police are asking that anybody with information on Ruttschaw’s whereabouts between Aug. 28 and Aug. 30 to call the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office or Indiana State Police.
