Toy guns, not real one, found in Clay High School student’s backpack

There were a few tense moments at Clay High School after St. Joseph County Police were called to the campus on the report of a student with a gun.

The school was placed on lockdown for a period of time around 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28.

Multiple toy guns were found in a student’s backpack.

Investigators say no threats were made, no criminal actions were committed and no arrests were made.

Nerf?

We used to take real guns to school every day because we were going hunting (no school shooting occurred) and today we will shut down a school for an ill shaped pop tart. Perhaps a return to social responsibility would be in order…
