ABC 57 Meteorologist Tom Coomes has issued his Winter 2022 forecast. He says with La Nina taking hold, it will be snowier than last year.

Coomes is forecasting 62 inches of snow, which is a foot more than what we received last year.

The temperature trend all year has been above normal and the cold season is getting shorter.

Coomes says it’s going to come down to how much snow can accumulate between Christmas and Valentines Day, where ‘real’ winter still exists.

I hated winter, my wife retires in about. 3-5 years then we are out of here so we can go somewhere else and complain about the weather.
