Union man, 28, injured in hit and run crash, White Pigeon man under arrest

A Union, Michigan, man was hurt in a hit-and-run crash and a White Pigeon man is being held, suspected in the collision.

The 28-year-old victim was found, injured, on the side of the road at Sunset Blvd. and Terrie Shore Road just after 12 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31. He was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment.

Deputies were able to later locate the suspected driver.

The name of the driver is being withheld pending arraignment on the charges. Seat belt use is unknown and intoxicating substances may have been a factor in the collision.
