Indiana Dept. of Natural Services issues reminder for hunters as season gets underway

The Indiana Department of Natural Services is reminding hunters that Indiana’s deer hunting season is underway. Deer firearm season begins on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Hunters will be required to wear hunter orange while deer hunting throughout firearms season, muzzleloader season and deer reduction zone season. Regardless of what equipment they hunt with.

Hunting season for several other game species also have hunter orange requirements from now, onward.
