Two people arrested after meth bust in Dowagiac

A man and woman have been arrested on drug-related charges in Cass County, and more arrests could be coming.

Agents with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of West High Street in Dowagiac on suspicion that the use and sale of illegal drugs was taking place.

Investigators say they found meth, paraphernalia, evidence of meth sales, narcotics, and three guns.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

A 41-year-old man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

Detectives are submitting charges on other occupants of the home.
