New interim health officer appointed in Berrien County

An interim health officer has been appointed in Berrien County.

His name is Guy Miller and he’s an epidemiologist with the county health department.

The agreement between the county and Miller states he’ll be able to return to his previous duties as an epidemiologist when a permanent county health officer is appointed.

Miller takes over for Courtney Davis, who, after just a few months as the interim director, stepped down due to the political nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions.
