A death investigation is underway in Elkhart County after a body was found in a wooded area near Corwin Drive and North Shore Drive.

Sheriff’s officers were called around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

Deputies secured the area for investigation by the Elkhart County Homicide Unit.

So far, there is no information about the victim’s identity or the nature of the death.
