SWAT standoff in South Bend ends peacefully

A SWAT standoff with an armed person holed up in a home in South Bend ended peacefully.

Officers were called to the 3000 block of Wilder Drive around 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, and were able to get a woman out of the house safely.

After some negotiations, the suspect inside surrendered without incident.

There were no injuries reported.
