Threat made towards John Young Middle School found not to be credible

School officials were made aware of a threat directed towards John Young Middle School.

An investigation by school officials and Mishawaka police identified the student that allegedly made the threat, soon after and police determined the threat of school violence was not credible.

There was no change in activities, as a result, on Thursday.

ABC 57 News reports parents were given a letter with more information about the alleged threat.
