Elkhart County police busy dealing with weekend crashes

Two people were hurt in two separate crashes in Elkhart County early Saturday morning, Nov. 20.

The first collision was reported around 2:45 a.m. when a car driven by a 23-year-old Goshen man drove off County Road 37. The car hit a fence and then a tree. Police found him unconscious, and he was taken to the hospital.

The second crash was reported around 3:40 a.m., when a car driven by a 38-year-old Elkhart man ran off Old U.S. 20 and crashed into several trees. He was taken to the hospital for a broken leg.
