Michigan City man arrested, woman injured, after rollover crash

A Michigan City man was arrested after a rollover crash.

Bruce Powalski, 67, was charged with operating while intoxicated while causing serious bodily injury, and OWI with a BAC of .08 or more.

At 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, first responders were called to the crash on Second Street and Center Street.

A black Jeep Grand Cherokee was found.

A woman was trapped in the passenger seat. She was taken to the hospital, where it was found she had a severe cut.

Powalski is now in the LaPorte County Jail.
