A man was arrested after a fight led to gunfire at a home in Center Township.

It happened on Wednesday, Nov. 17 on Dogwood Avenue, according to the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office.

An officer heard loud music coming from the home and saw several people fighting.

Investigators say Javier Santillan, 20, ran inside the home, then came back out with a gun and fire at a vehicle.

Santillan was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness.

A passenger in the vehicle was wanted on three counts of operating while intoxicated and was also taken into custody.
