Counterfeit pills could contain fentanyl, police warn

Police are warning the public about counterfeit pills that could contain fentanyl.

This, after officers in Fishers found fake pills are being marketed as prescription pills.

They warn how dangerous they are due to the powerful synthetic opioid they have in them.

Investigators say they’ve seized over 25-thousand of the pills containing fentanyl so far.

They believe the fake pills are responsible for three deaths and several overdoses in Indiana.
